Dr Kerrie Meades has been involved with laser vision correction and refractive surgery since its introduction to Australia in 1995. In Australia, Dr Meades was the first female ophthalmologist to perform laser vision correction and also the first surgeon to perform INTRACOR.

I know what it's like to experience a new world of vision having had laser surgery myself —my family have also had laser eye surgery as have over fifty of the personalEYES team.

My passion is in refractive surgery including surface treatments, LASIK, phakic IOLs, customised cataract surgery, intracorneal rings, cross linking and presbyopia. I have been doing refractive surgery since 1995 and trained many fellows in refractive procedures, cataract surgery and general ophthalmology.

My primary objective is to choose the safest options to achieve the best visual outcome to suit you and your lifestyle.
